Responsibilities

The Tiffany & Co. Assistant Manager will partner to support the Store Manager in the coaching and development of the sales team in order to meet or exceed sales plan and profitability targets. The Assistant Manager is a dynamic, attentive and inspiring leader who demonstrates strong team building and interpersonal skills to consistently focus on enhancing the luxury customer experience and supports team members to do the same. Through effective management, demonstration of the Tiffany Touch and ongoing support, they enable Sales Professionals to manage and develop their client base, achieve sales goals and deliver consistently high levels of customer service.  As well as daily team supervision and relationship building, the Assistant Manager will manage store systems and operations, develop strategies to ensure targets are met, and act as a brand ambassador. 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications/Primary Job Requirements

* A minimum of 5-10 years of management experience within retail or luxury retail or relevant customer related experience (i.e. luxury hospitality, etc.).

* Proven ability to develop new opportunities and maintain client relationships while ensuring brand recognition and penetration in market. 

* Willingness to work non-traditional business hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.

* Ability to present business strategy to audiences utilizing current technology with strong professional presentation skills.

* Working proficiency in German (business) and English (business).

* Superior communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as interpersonal skills using positive leadership models. 

* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, Power Point, Client tracking systems and Point of Sales (POS) system.

* Ability to present business strategy to audiences utilizing current technology with strong professional presentation skills. 

* Through professional presence and behaviours, ability to inspire trust, integrity, influence client and staff members.

* Dynamic team player with ability to positively motivate staff and network locally and regionally to build relationships.

* Must have authorisation to work in the country where the position is based.

 

Preferred Qualifications/Primary Job Requirements

* A university degree. 

* Awarded gemological certification relevant to the country of work.

* Additional language skills are preferred.
