The mission of this role is to support the Watch Retail Activation and Operations central and regional teams by ensuring that:
(i) the watch category incorporates store operational needs securing that best practices, procedures and training tools are being developed, whether for existing product, new product launches or for new sales-related initiatives.
(ii) the Global Sales Operations and Customer Services teams continues to include watch needs in the development and application of Corporate processes and Retail procedures and the stores network applies and follows those policies.
(iii) the retail activation and retail operations initiatives are diligently deployed by supporting the implementations of training tools, incentives schemes, seminars organization and special projects follow-up.
(iv) the retail activation regional teams are fully equipped with training tools to support the watch business growth within regions.
The position is based in Chiasso, Switzerland.
The coordinator will ensure that worldwide store operational needs are constantly evaluated and communicated to the central watch team in Switzerland, incorporating feedback from relevant departments including the Retail Activation team, the Corporate GSO team and the retail network itself. S/he will ensure that store staffs are equipped with the right tools and know-how to consistently deliver an excellent client experience and support the omni-channel offerings.
This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams - such as Global Education, Global Sales Operations, Retail After Sales Service, CVM/Merchandising - to develop standard practices for store watch operations. The coordinator will represent global and regional retail perspectives on cross-functional projects to ensure that strategic initiatives are developed mindful of local regulations and common business practices. S/he will monitor the retail network’s constant adherence to agreed processes and procedures, and will support the implementation of watch retail activation initiatives (Training tools, Incentives, Special Projects) impacting the growth of the category at global and regional levels. In collaboration with the Watch Retail Activation, Global Education, GSO and After Sales teams, s/he will initiate projects and communication plans that support groups addressing business objectives, related policies and procedures, project time-line and implementation strategies.
The coordinator will work with internal resources to accomplish strategic projects, as well as provide support to watch-related selling and promotional events to ensure that all operational needs are properly addressed. If necessary, s/he will participate in the regular testing of in-store, digital and omni-channel solutions and prepare consistent retail operations training documents to support store teams and will coordinate the local update of training documents on a regular basis. This individual will support additional leadership initiatives and special retail activations projects on an as-needed basis, and provide insights and recommendations to enhance and develop retail programs in support of strategies.
• College education
• 3-5 years of experience in an operational role in a luxury international retail environment
• Knowledge of state-of-the-art retail store procedures and processes
• Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work well with others in a multi-cultural environment
• Experience working with global markets
• Prior experience in international and remote project management
