    We are looking for a Security Manager to lead security programs in France, Belgium, Netherlands and Switzerland.


     Develop & implement security procedures, plans, and protocols across region

    • Partner with Operations team to develop an annual security strategy for the market. Focus on reducing overall inventory loss, increasing security compliance and emergency response capability.
    • Partner with Operations, Finance and other relevant departments to ensure effective  operational processes and procedures are in place to reduce loss and identify integrity issues.
    • Provide training and execution plans for the emergency evacuation procedure for all retail and non-retail locations.
    • Design and implement an annual security training calendar. Ensure all employees have up to date security knowledge. Work with retail and non-retail management to address location specific training needs, ensuring regular visits to all locations.
    • As required identify and develop programs to address vulnerabilities within your of responsibility.
    • Support special assignments as directed by Director, Security – Europe to include internal and external investigations.
    • Develop and maintain an on-going liaison with corporate peers, law enforcement and government agencies in your market.

    Manage and develop Security Team

    • Manage the performance and development of branch Security staff.
    • Complete and deliver Security Supervisors annual performance management process. Set performance and development plans. Coach and performance manage as necessary in partnership with branch management and HR.
    • Ensure that all Security staff schedules are structured to fully meet the needs of the location. Maximize physical deterrence and floor presence of the entire security staff and ensure adequate floor coverage.
    • Recruit, interview and hire branch Security staff with input from local management, the Director Security – Europe and HR as required.
    • Ensure departmental objectives are achieved by setting goals and measures of performance. Work with local store management and Security Supervisors to assess progress regularly.

    Ensure Physical Security of locations

    • Ensure the physical security applications in all locations are to Tiffany standard.
    • Conduct Physical Security Checklist Reviews for each location at least once a year and more frequently as required.
    • Conduct vulnerability evaluations in a timely manner.
    • For new stores; partner with Director, Security – Europe and Real Estate prior to opening to plan and facilitate proper protection and conduct onsite new store employee training. Partner with HR and store management on the recruitment of new store security staff.

    Fiscal responsibility

    • Conduct monthly financial reviews, by location, of each of the following areas; salary, overtime, contract guards, key service, equipment maintenance and repair costs, service calls, annual contracts  and any other security related expenditure.
    • Ensuring that annual profit plan is maintained and corrective action recommended if required.
    • Ensure that all security related invoices are checked and processed for payment in a timely manner.



    Required or preferred qualifications 

    • 5 + years’ experience as a security manager in a luxury/high end retail or hospitality business.
    • Experience partnering with senior leaders to design and implement security strategies.
    • Strong relationship building skills
    • Experience working in the security industry in France (Benelux and Switzerland is a benefit).
    • Must speak English and French fluently.
