    Responsibilities

    Creative

    • Manage all creative installations, including show windows and vitrines, in store flowers, market press or PR events and travelling exhibitions.
    • Ensure the highest standards of visual presentation are being adhered to at all times, ensuring a best in class store environment.
    • Partner with Marketing Director, CVM Director and Retail Store Management escalating any local issues regarding visual presentation and overall store environment, to find successful solutions to problems on a case by case basis.
    • Partner with local, regional and global marketing, PR and Retail on in store and off site events. Overseeing the creative direction ensuring all events are aligned with the global brand strategy.

    Merchandising

    • Maintain case line presentation of merchandise as set out by the CVM/Merchandising departments.
    • Ensure all styling guidelines are executed and maintained to the highest standards in partnership with the retail teams. Includes evaluating merchandise adjacencies and participating in re-merchandising efforts.
    • Ensure floor plans and planograms are current and up to date.


    Asset Management

    • Oversee the logistics and handling of CVM materials from vendors. To include planning and tracking movement of collateral, maintaining records and ensuring invoicing and contact details are current and up to date.
    • Take ownership of resolving shipment problems and finding the best and most efficient solutions to problems.
    • Receive, evaluate and document appropriate photos and comments regarding installations and events to the corporate CVM team as required and that they are submitted in a timely manner.
    • Ensure all invoices are in line with budget and have the necessary approvals.

    Communication

    • Communicate on a regular basis with Marketing Director, CVM Director and Retail Store Management regarding store initiatives, display standards, creative installations and general store environment.
    • Participate in monthly local Marketing team meetings and conference calls as required on behalf of CVM.
    • Provide regular reports on CVM activity across the region.
    • Follow a clear process for all store led requests for the region.

    Training and Service Excellence

    • Conduct training on brand standards to the retail teams.
    • Develop a schedule to monitor and evaluate case line standards and to assist as needed with renovations, exhibits and remerchandising projects.

    Qualifications

    • 3-5 years’ experience in visual merchandising, styling or related areas – preferably luxury retail.
    • Knowledge of local vendor sources for display supplies, hardware, props, furniture and flowers.
    • Experience with basic construction tools and painting.
    • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
    • Ambitious, flexible and enthusiastic.
    • Able to work with a variety of people, and present ideas and information to groups.
    • Computer skills required: email/Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Word and Photoshop.
    • Available and flexible to travel extensively within market.
    • Flexible in working evenings, and weekends on occasion.
    • Fluent in English and French.
